Welcome to the 2009 CHA Championship Tournament
On behalf of Mercyhurst College and the Department of Athletics, I would like to welcome you to Erie, Pa. and the seventh annual College Hockey America Women’s Hockey Championship Tournament. We commend everyone on a great season to this point and we anticipate an exciting finale.
The CHA has grown into one of the premiere women’s hockey conferences. This tournament will showcase some of college hockey’s great young talent, as well as some of the most prolific players in the game today. We are looking forward to another exciting affair and we wish the participants all the best!

Participating Teams: Mercyhurst College, Wayne State University, Robert Morris University, Niagara University and Syracuse University
Ticket Information: Tickets will be sold for all individual sessions of the CHA Tournament. Tickets are $5 for Thursday's game and $7 for each game on Friday and Saturday. An All-Session ticket, gaining you admission to all of the games, is available for $15. Student tickets are $3 per game and $7 for an All-Session ticket. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Mercyhurst Ticket Office at (814) 824-2277 or by printing out the attached form below and mailing it to the provided address. Please note, all tickets purchased through phone and mail orders will be held at will call at the Mercyhurst Ice Center.
2009 CHA Post-Season Banquet Information: The College Hockey America Women’s Championship Banquet will take place on Thursday March 5 at 7:00 p.m. The banquet will take place at the Ambassador Banquet and Conference Center in Erie, Pa. Tickets are $22 per person. Parent/fan banquet tickets should be purchased through the Mercyhurst Ticket Office. The banquet will feature a buffet meal. Any special meal requests should be made directly with the Ambassador Banquet and Conference Center.
Hotel / Lodging Information: The Hilton Garden Inn has been designated as the official hotel for CHA teams. The hotel is located in Erie, less than 10 minutes for the Mercyhurst Ice Center.
