WINTHROP, Mass. – Mercyhurst men's hockey sophomores Les Lancaster and Derek Barach were named to the All-Atlantic Hockey First and Second Teams, respectively, as announced by the league on Thursday.
 
Lancaster, a defenseman, is now a two-time All-Atlantic Hockey First Team honoree, having claimed the accolade along with Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Year and Atlantic Hockey All-Rookie Team honors a year ago. He ranks third on the Lakers' roster with 24 points – also ranking second on the team with 19 assists. Lancaster also has five goals.

Lancaster is among the top scoring defensemen in the league. He is tied for second in the conference in assists and ranks third in goals.

Barach, a forward, is leading the Lakers with 36 points, including a team-high 27 assists. He is also third with nine goals. Last year, Barach was honored on the All-Atlantic Hockey Third Team and Atlantic Hockey All-Rookie Team.
