LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) will participate in Hooping for a Cure next month, part of a national campaign for breast cancer awareness.
 
The Mercyhurst University women's basketball team will host California (Pa.) Saturday, February 18, at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center for its designated home game as part of the effort. All 16 schools will host a game throughout the month to raise awareness on behalf of the Women's Basketball Coaches' Association (WBCA).
 
The Lakers will wear all-pink uniforms for the Cal contest and the following game against Edinboro on February 22. All revenue from the games will be donated to the Kimball Family Foundation.
