ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Mercyhurst men's hockey team, which currently sits in first place in the Atlantic Hockey Association standings, is battling the second place Tigers of RIT at the Frank Ritter Memorial Arena in Rochester on Friday night and Saturday night. Both games, according to the sports information department at RIT, have been sold out.

The Lakers are 14-9-3 overall and 11-3-3 in the AHA standings, just one point ahead of RIT on the year. The Tigers come in with a 14-8-2 overall record and an 11-4-2 mark in conference play.

Earlier this season, Mercyhurst defeated RIT 2-1 at the Mercyhurst Ice Center behind a career-high 49-save performance from senior goaltender Max Strang.
