ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst women's basketball team travels to third-ranked Edinboro Wednesday, January 25, for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division game. The contest is scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. start at McComb Fieldhouse.

Deanna Richard's squad dropped all three outings in a three-game homestand, dropping division matchups with Slippery Rock, #25 Gannon, and IUP.
Edinboro is one of two undefeated remaining in Division II. The other unbeaten, California-San Diego, is ranked first nationally The Lady Scots are 16-0 overall with a 12-0 mark in the PSAC. They defeated Slippery Rock, 68-37, on January 21 and Indiana, 71-45, on January 18. Boro has played just two games with single-digit margins this season.
Frederickson leads the Lakers in scoring (12.8) and rebounding (6.9) on the year. She is also shooting 57.2 percent from the field-second in the league. Freshman
Lindsay Stamp is the other double figure scorer for Mercyhurst, at 12.1 points per game. Five Scots are averaging 9.8 points or more per contest. Kiara Brown leads the team with 14.4 points and 29 made threes, while Samantha Blazetic is posting 13.6 points and six boards a game. She leads the PSAC with a 58.4 field goal percentage.
Edinboro leads the conference in scoring at over 77 points per game. It also paces the PSAC in assists, steals, and turnover margin. Hurst is second in rebounding margin and made threes this season.
This is the Lakers' third consecutive game against a ranked foe. They travel to California (Pa.) Saturday, January 28, for another PSAC West contest.
