Attention fans! Come join us at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center this weekend to watch the No. 1-ranked Mercyhurst Lakers on the big screen as they compete in the 2010 Women's Frozen Four in Minneapolis.
Fans will be able to cheer their team on together from the stands of the MAC. The athletic department has arranged for a big screen on the floor of the basketball court to broadcast the Mercyhurst vs. Cornell semifinal game at 6 p.m. (EST) Friday via ncaasports.com.
If they win, the Lakers will play for the national championship, facing either the University of Minnesota or Minnesota-Duluth, on Sunday. This game will also be broadcast from the MAC's big screen. The game will be broadcast on CBS College Sports starting at 1 p.m. (EST).
If you can't make it to the MAC, Erie cable subscribers can view the game on DirecTV Channel 613, Dish Network Channel 152 and Time Warner Channel 322.
Additionally, Mercyhurst radio station, 88.5 JAZZ FM, will broadcast the Friday night game with announcers David and John Leisering. The game will be heard on 88.5 and 104.9FM and also simulcast on the Internet at www.ErieRadio.com. If Mercyhurst advances to the championship game, 88.5 JAZZ FM will also broadcast that game Sunday at 1 p.m.
