CALGARY – The Canadian National Team closed out its three-game series against the under-22 squad with a 10-0 victory Thursday evening at the Father David Bauer Olympic Arena in Calgary, Alberta.

Meghan Agosta recorded two goals and an assist, joining Hayley Wickenheiser, Marie-Philip Poulin and Rebecca Johnston as National Team members with at least two goals in the game.

Agosta scored her first during a five-goal marathon in the first period. The three-time RBK All-American found the back of the net shortly after Caroline Ouellette put away the eventual game-winner just 3:03 into the game. A goal by Johnston and two by Wickenheiser closed out the frame with the National Team leading 5-0.

Agosta added her second of the night early in the middle stanza, scoring off a pair of assists from Jayna Hefford and Becky Kellar to make the score 6-0 at 1:27. Poulin followed suit with her first of the game at 2:43, ending under-22 goaltender and Mercyhurst graduate Laura Hosier's night.

Hosier allowed seven goals and recorded 14 saves through 22:43 before giving way to Harvard's Christina Kessler, who finished the game with three goals allowed.

The National Team finished the rout in the third period with three goals in a span of three minutes and 15 seconds. Poulin netted her second at 6:07, followed by Wickenheiser's third off an assist from Agosta at 6:42, and a second by Johnston at 9:22.

Kim St-Pierre recorded the win for the National Team, stopping all 20 shots.

The under-22 team concludes its schedule Friday morning with a game against the Canadian National Women's Under-18 Team.
