The Mercyhurst University Dance Team consists of dancers who perform halftime of the Mercyhurst University men's basketball games and will also compete at some local competitions, if able.
Tryouts for the 2013-2014 season will take place on September 3, 2013 from 7:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. A hip hop routine will be taught and dancers will perform routines for a panel of judges. Tryouts will take place within the MAC Dance Studio.
Anyone who is interested in being a part of the team must be at tryouts. Dance attire must be worn and sneakers are a must. There will be a meeting following tryouts to go over important information for the new season for those who make the team. Please make sure you arrive by 7:30 p.m. to fill out tryout forms. We start promptly at 8:00 p.m., so don't be late!
