Niagara Falls, N.Y. — It's another road trip as the Mercyhurst Women's Bowling Team heads for Niagara Falls to start their November play. The competition is slated to start Saturday, November 4th at 10:55 am and conclude on Sunday, November 5th starting at 9:00am.

The Lakers are set to compete in Niagara University's Niagara Fall Classic as they host the tournament for the first time in their program history. Mercyhurst has see Niagara twice already this season in their first two tournaments.

The Purple Eagles were able to beat the Lakers in the Mercyhurst Fall Classic at the open of the season, eventually going on to win the whole tournament. Mercyhurst then saw them again in their next tourney at the MOTIV Penguin Classic, where the Lakers took the one Baker match they faced each other in by a score of 1042 to 893.

Mercyhurst took part in Kutztown's Golden Bear Invite last time out. Samantha Strebel put in a strong performance for the Lakers, averaging a 183 score, ranking as the 13th best in the competition out of the 82 that bowled. Mercyhurst came in 6th place overall out of the 13 schools that took part.

Next up after the Lakers weekend in Niagara Falls, the team will be in New York for the second consecutive weekend, this time participating in Daemen University's Daemen Storm Fall Classic in Buffalo, N.Y. from November 11th-12th.
