Rachel (Griepsma) Biddle was a dual sport athlete at Mercyhurst, participating in Water Polo and Soccer, and graduating from the Sports Medicine and Exercise Science programs. Rachel was a four-time member of the CWPA All-Western Division First Team and the 2008 CWPA Western Division Rookie of the Year. She also was named an ACWPC First Team All-American during her sophomore and junior seasons.

While in the pool, she accumulated 246 career goals and 53 career assists. Her goal mark ranks her first in Mercyhurst history and her 299 career points rank fourth in program history. In 2008, she led the country in goals per game with a 3.5 mark.

While on the pitch, Rachel started three seasons in the net for the Lakers Women’s Soccer team, which included two trips to the NCAA Tournament. Her 16 shutouts, 223 saves, and 22 wins all rank in the top five all-time for the Lakers.

After her senior season, Rachel spent 2012 working as a graduate assistant under the late Curtis Robinette, Women's Water Polo coach. In August 2012, she was named the head coach of Grove City College’s Women’s Water Polo team, leading the team to a 23-20 record over two seasons. In her inaugural season as head coach, the team held a 12-9 record, including an 11-1 mark in CWPA Division III competition. The Wolverines advanced to the program’s fourth consecutive Division III title game to place second in the final standings. Rachel is now the General Manager at CycleBar in Nashville, Tennessee
