Luis graduated in 2013 after spending four seasons as a member of the Lakers with him being one of the leaders for the team throughout his time. He was named to the All-PSAC West First Team twice with him making the team during the 2010-11 season and then again in 2012-13.
?Leao was a complete player for the Lakers on the court with him averaging over 16 points per game to go along with six rebounds in his career. His all-around game shined brightest during the 2010-11 season when he was top 10 in the PSAC in both points and rebounds per game, helping him be named to the All-PSAC West First Team and the PSAC Winter Top 10. He added two all-region and three all-american honors to his line as well to make him one of the more decorated players in program history.
?Luis averaged 15 or more points and five or more rebounds in each season while adding 25 or more blocks and 30 or more steals to his line in three of his campaigns. For the 2012-13 season, Leao was named to the PSAC West First Team and the conference's Player of the Year. He averaged a career-high 18.6 points to go along with 6.7 rebounds, 1 block, and 1.4 steals per game. His 28 blocks and 42 steals that season helped Luis be one of only four players in the PSAC to have 25 or more blocks and 40 or more steals, making him one of the more feared defenders in the conference.
?On top of his time with the Lakers, Leao also played for the Brazilian National Team, spending time with their 18-U team before coming to Mercyhurst.
