Mercyhurst University Athletics

A former member of Mercyhurst's Women's Basketball team, Maxson played from 1986 to 1990. She ranks first on the all-time scoring charts, amassing an incredible 2,094 points over four years. She also was the first women's basketball player to be named an All-American and led the Lady Lakers to their first ECAC playoff appearance. Maxson placed eighth in scoring her junior year and ninth in the nation the following season. She ranks 16th all-time in scoring average with 21.4 points per game.
