Mercyhurst University Athletics

Keith Swanson was a member of the Mercyhurst Football program from 1994-1998 and put together one of the best defensive careers in Lakers' history. 

Swanson was named a Don Hansen All-America First-Team selection in 1997. He was also an All-MIFC Second Team member in 1998. Swanson ranks 11th among all Lakers in career tackles-for-loss with 31. He also ranks 19th all-time in total tackles (242) and tied for 31st in sacks (7). Swanson ranked second on the team in tackles in 1997 and 1998.
