Mautz finished his four-year career with a 106-32 record, posting the second-best winning percentage in school history (76.8%). His 106 victories are tied for third all-time. He is the program's all-time record holder in career pins with 37, and his 14 pins during the 2001-02 season are tied for third all-time. Mautz was the first All-American in program history, placing fifth at nationals as a freshman. He was a three-time All-American and a four-time national qualifier. He also ranks sixth all-time with 138 escapes and eighth in takedowns with 187.
