Jim Zank was another dominant defensive player in Laker history, playing from 1983 to 1986. Jim recorded 161 tackles in 28 games, adding 39 tackles for a loss and 21 sacks. Zank is the all-time leader in sacks with 21 and holds the record for sacks in a season with 11. For his efforts on the defensive line, Zank was named to the All-American First Team, making him one of the more decorated and prolific players in Laker history.
