Jenna formerly played for the women’s volleyball team from 2004 to 2008 and was an elite all-around player for the Lakers over her time, becoming the third player in the program’s history to have over 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs, finishing with 1,248 kills and 1,113 digs. She started off her career on a high note, leading the team in kills in back-to-back seasons to begin her time as a Laker with 289 in 2005 and 302 the following year. She came in second in digs in her freshman campaign with 307, showing Matson to be a strong presence in several areas.

?Her final campaign as a Laker proved to be her best one as she was named to the All-PSAC West First Team and the Daktronics All-Atlantic Region Second Team. In her final year, Matson posted a career-high 359 kills and a career-high in digs with 336 to go along with 26 service aces.

?Jenna set the record for single-game kills during the 2008 season with 25 coming against cross-town rivals Gannon, helping her finish in the top 10 in kills in the PSAC that season.

?Jenna's success extended past the court as she proved to be a stellar student. Matson was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team in both 2006 and 2007 while being named a Daktronics All-Atlantic Region Second Team member in 2008, proving to be the definition of a student-athlete.

?Matson graduated with a degree in Graphic Design.
