Gaelin Carrig made a lasting impact on the Mercyhurst women's golf team with her consistency and excellence from 2011 to 2015. In her senior season, she earned All-PSAC Second Team honors and was named to the Capital One Academic All-District First Team. Her standout performances also earned her the PSAC Champion Scholar-Athlete of the Year award in 2014 for having the highest GPA among all PSAC Championship competitors. Carrig competed in all 12 tournaments during her senior season, boasting a team-low 80.3 scoring average over 23 rounds. She claimed four top five finishes and secured first place at the Westminster Invitational. Throughout her career, Carrig's steady play and academic success epitomized what it means to be a true student-athlete.
