Beveridge was the Men's Cross Country team's top runner all four seasons from 1983 to 1987, setting the Mercyhurst course record as a freshman. He finished first in all but three dual meets during his career and was a national qualifier in all four seasons. He also had top-five finishes at the Notre Dame Invitational and at the Buffalo State Invitational.
