ERIE, Pa. -- The eighth-ranked Mercyhurst women's lacrosse team claimed a 16-6 win against 15th-ranked Lock Haven in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Tournament semifinal on Friday at Tullio Field.
Kristin Anderson had four goals and seven draw controls for the Lakers (15-2), who are the top seed in the PSAC Tournament.
Carly Zimmerman was the leading point-getter with three goals and two assists.

Janelle Williams added two goals apiece.
Also for Mercyhurst,
Emily Gebhardt,
Kyla Keefe and
Grace Lawson tallied one goal each. Anderson and
Katrina Campbell picked up four groundballs apiece while
Emily Koestler caused three turnovers.

The Lakers scored the game's first four goals -- part of a 6-1 run to open the contest -- and held a comfortable lead most of the way. Mercyhurst built its largest lead at 15-4 with seven consecutive goals in the second half.
Rachel Engler and Alex O'Herrick had two goals each for Lock Haven (14-5). Hannah Houde made eight saves in goal.
The Lakers will play in Sunday's PSAC Tournament final against sixth-ranked West Chester, beginning 2:30 p.m. at Tullio Field.
