ERIE, Pa.- The #1 Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team beat #2 Limestone, 18-17 in overtime, on Saturday, May 18, at Tullio Field. The game is one of the greatest matches in NCAA Tournament history and featured a number of notable achievements.


 
-35 combined goals are second-most in school history (32-5 win over St. Vincent-April 5, 1997)
 
-Highest combined score in an NCAA Division II Tournament game since 1980 (UMBC 23, Adelphi 14-NCAA Championship)
