ERIE, Pa. --  Fans unable to attend the 2009 Henley Royal Regatta can now view over 1,000 photos from the Lakers amazing chase for the Visitors' Challenge Cup.

The Mercyhurst men's lightweight four spent over a week in Henley, upsetting some of the world's top crews en route to a runner-up finish.  The Lakers defeated two-time champion Galway in the opening round before upsetting the traditional powerhouse Molesey B.C. in the semifinals.

Mercyhurst was one of two crews from a field of 16 from all over the world that raced in the finals for Visitors Challenge Cup -- a division that is for club and university crews below The Stewards' Challenge Cup standard.
