BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Fresh off their upset of the nation's No. 1 Team, the Mercyhurst College Lakers continued their winning ways with a 7-4 victory over Winona St.

The Lakers (4-6) put four runs on the board in the bottom of the fifth to take a 6-2 lead and would add one more in the seventh to hang on for their second-straight victory.

Jamie Walczak led the Lakers at the plate with a 4-for-5 performance while Ethan Santora added a 3-for-4 effort, contributing three RBIs in the process.  Also adding three RBIs was Jonathan Dziomba, who collected two hits in five trips to the dish.

Jeremy Cressley earned the win for Mercyhurst, going 2 2/3 innings and allowing one run on one hit while striking out three in 12 batters faced.   Walczak earned the save, striking out two batters in an inning of work.

Santora got the scoring started when he homered in the bottom of the second for his fifth of the year, then Dziomba busted open the scoring in the fifth when he added a two-run homerun for the Lakers.

Next up for the Lakers is a doubleheader with Wilmington, Del. on Wednesday, March 5.
